Students will continue to learn and improve their English using games and activities including some of the following;
- Weather, if it is going to rainy, hot, cold or a pretty day
- People and what they look like
- American
Holidays and how we celebrate them,
- Various occupations
We will also learn the structure of beginning sentences using articles including the following (a, an, the, this/these, that/those), and the verb to do and personal pronouns.
We will learn how to respond at the bank, grocery store, school, doctors office or clinic, understand the weather changes and feel at home at an american holiday celebration and get there on time.
The objective of this class is to help the student understand and communicate the everyday things encountered in their lives. Elements taught will help the student in building his or her use of the English language and to relate to those who do not speak their native language.
