Computer Training is available to intermediate and advanced students. It is taught in a Computer Lab provided by CFBC. The classes are designed to introduce students new to computers and in the spring lessons will be taught using Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
The class is limited to six students at a time so that each student has his or her own computer. Each computer has access to the Internet. During the Internet part of the class we will explore the resources available to help us improve our English. We will also spend time learning how to use e-mail and how we can use it to communicate with friends and family around the world.
Each class session will be approximately two months long so that every student who wants to learn about computers gets a chance. Students who have never attended our computer class will get first priority, then repeat students can be included in the class. All students must be enrolled in a regular class to attend this class.
We will also learn to use our computer for other activities like digital pictures, including downloading from the camera, free software to help improve our pictures and other techniques to help us with our photography.
