1. Champion Forest provides preschool classes ftee of charge for Your children, ages baby through kindergarten, from 9: 15 - 11:50 a.m.
2. The purpose of our preschool classes is to provide the best possible care for the children, as well as establish a good relationship with their parents, while teaching them about God and His love. We strive to meet the child's total needs -- emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual-through every possible means, including having bilingual teachers in the classroom whenever possible.3. We do not have an English class for children. Please bring any child 1 month of age to kindergarten age to the preschool classes. Preschoolers will be hearing English and playing with English-speaking children.
4. Please label all items (diaper bags, bottles, pacifiers, etc.) belonging to your child. Personal toys, gum, candy or coins should be left at home.
5. For the safety of the children, all teachers have completed a thorough application process, which includes interviews, reference checks, criminal background check, and training.
6. Teachers have been trained in classroom management practices to maintain safety and control of the classroom.
7. A security system is in place to govern drop off and pick up procedures for children. Parents sign their child in at the door and receive a numbered tag which they must bring back to pick up their child. A matching number is placed on the child's back. Children will only be released to an adult.
8. For the protection of all children in childcare, children who are ill will not be accepted in childcare. This includes fever within the last 24 hours, vomiting, diarrhea, any symptoms of the usual childhood diseases, a cold, sore throat, croup, unexplained rash, skin or eye infection.
9. The childcare classes want to serve you and your child, and help your experience at Champion Forest to be comfortable and positive. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's care, please contact the childcare coordinator, as soon as possible. If a discipline problem occurs, or if a child is unusually upset, the child will be removed ftom the situation and redirected in another way to help the child regain a positive focus. The teacher/childcare coordinator will notify the parent privately if behavior continues to be disruptive or if the child remains unsettled. Our goal is to be firm, but loving.
